Tony Davis
Managing Director
Tony's early interest in aviation has led to an airline career spanning more than 35 years, including more than 10 years in the role of Managing Director or CEO. He has worked globally in the UK, USA, SE Asia, Middle East, Europe, Australia and Latin America at a variety of major airlines such as British Airways, Gulf Air and British Midland. Prior to establishing Gramercy Associates, Tony was the founding MD of bmibaby and Group Chief Executive of Tiger Airways. He is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Versilia Group Holdings and Mime Technologies. Tony has also served as a Non-Executive Director of VivaAerobus (Mexico), Viva Colombia, Glasgow Prestwick Airport, Skywest Airlines (Australia) and the Singapore Tourism Board. He is a fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Yat Wong
Analyst
Yat developed a passion for international affairs shortly after he went on his first international trip at the age of 18. Since then, He has always wanted to be involved in work that brings everyone in different countries closer together. The aviation industry allows him to put his dreams into action and to make a positive impact on not only the industry but also the world. Before joining Gramercy as a business analyst, he worked as an analyst in a global logistics company that helps professionals to relocate to other countries for work. Yat holds a degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Nottingham. During his education, he participated in several investment banking internships which strengthened his commercial awareness and skills. Also, he is an Associate of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
Alan Bird
Associate
Alan Bird a chartered accountant who has worked in aviation for more than 25 years, principally as Group Finance Director bmi and CFO at Tiger Airways and VivaAerobus. He is also CEO of Adsajama Aviation Services, an investor and provider of a range of services to the aviation industry. Current direct clients include Irelandia Aviation, Viva Air Group, Canada Jetlines and GlobalXAir. Alan has a degree in Mathematical Economics, works on the NHS covid vaccination programme, and is a mentor at the Prince's Trust
David Barker
Associate
David brings more than 40 years of experience in aviation maintenance. An ex licenced aircraft engineer working on both line and heavy maintenance checks; followed by widespread experience with management roles in quality, airworthiness, planning and technical services, working in the UK and worldwide. In recent years he headed the engineering teams with start-up airlines bmibaby in the UK and Tiger Airways in Singapore and Australia. Focusing on efficient effective management to get the job done and keep the airline on time and always with safety at the forefront. Strong at negotiating skills for support contracts, leases, power by hour agreements and keeping to budgets.
Tim Lee
Associate
Tim started his career as an engineer with BAe Airbus in Filton and Toulouse, before moving into consulting with Deloitte. His clients ranged from low-cost carriers to Emirates. After leaving Deloitte, he became General Manager of a UK regional airline, before joining Tiger Airways as interim CFO. He has acted as CEO and CCO for a range of ACMI, low-cost, hybrid and full-service carriers in the Middle East, Europe and Africa. Tim managed the start-up of FastJet Zimbabwe, and now works with a range of airline clients, specialising in start-ups, commercial and financial planning, operating licences, airline IT systems, payment processing, strategy and fund raising. He is a Chartered Engineer, an MBA and a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
